U.S. Immigration Courts

The latest issue of Georgetown Immigration Law Journal includes an article by J. Palmer, S. Yale-Loehr, and E. Cronin entitled "Why Are So Many People Challenging Board of Immigration Appeals Decisions in Federal Court? An Empirical Analysis of the Recent Surge in Petitions for Review."

A pre-print of this article is available in full-text through the Social Science Research Network.

Another immigration court issue that is being reported in the media concerns the U.S. Attorney General's investigation into the behavior and procedures of immigration judges. Read more about it in this press release from AILA.
