World Conference on Humanitarian Studies...

...starts today, at Tufts University! Here's the schedule of panels, plus an index of all the accepted papers.

Several panels specifically focus on displacement, including:

  • Displacement in urban areas and humanitarian action
  • Urban Refugees in Cairo, Amman and Damascus
  • Humanitarian assistance and spaces of protection
  • Protracted internal displacement and its impact on resolution of protracted crises
  • New approaches and perspectives in the search of durable solutions for displaced persons

Various side events have also been scheduled.
