The Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC, formerly the Global IDP Project) has just released its annual report on the situation of IDPs. Entitled "Internal Displacement: Global Overview of Trends and Developments in 2005," the report includes a map showing the location of IDP populations around the world; thematic chapters covering such topics as health, women, children, property issues, non-state actors, among others; and regional overviews. The annex provides a statistical table showing the number of IDPs per country.
