A report from the Future Group evaluated the compliance of selected jurisdictions with their international obligations under the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children, supplementing the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime ("Trafficking Protocol"). The authors found that the UK and Canada came up short. The study also "provides a comparative analysis of best practices in the jurisdictions that are under review."
