Recent UNHCR Events

A joint meeting between UNHCR and the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) was held earlier in the year in Amman, Jordan.

Latin American nations gathered for a discussion co-organized by UNHCR and the Brazilian government on 11 November 2010 in Brasilia to mark the various upcoming anniversaries. Participants ended by adopting the Brasilia Declaration on the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons in the Americas.

A "Round Table on Durable Solutions: Local Integration and Resettlement of Refugees" was co-hosted by UNHCR and the Council of Europe's Committee on Migration in Strasbourg on 15 November 2010.
