New Journal on Internal Displacement

The inaugural issue of the Journal on Internal Displacement has just been published. The aim of the journal is to raise "the profile of internally displaced persons through discussions, critical dialogue, emerging themes, reflections and explorations on a wide range of topics and regions around the globe." The theme is "Definitions, Scopes, Theories and Concepts."

This journal is an open access title, so content is both free of charge and free of copyright/licensing restrictions. However, you must first register. To do so, complete the "sign-up" form and wait for a confirmation email. After you click on the confirmation link that is sent to you, you will receive another email granting your membership. Then you can login with your email and password, and view the articles in the "current issue" section.

Note: A call for papers for the second issue has also just been released; the focus is on Africa and the deadline for submissions is 25 February 2011.
