Temporary Protected Status

The Trump administration has terminated TPS for Nepal and Honduras, affecting approximately 9,000 Nepalese and 57,000 Hondurans. To date, TPS has already been cancelled for El Salvador, Haiti, Nicaragua and Sudan; it has been extended for South Sudan and Syria. TPS for Somalia and Yemen currently goes to September 2018; any decision to extend or revoke it must be made at least 60 days before the expiration date.
