Thematic Focus: Global Compacts Round-up

News:

GCR:

The fifth formal consultation on the Global Compact on Refugees was held 12-13 June 2018. Here are opening remarks from the AHC and an article from the SDG Knowledge Hub.

The sixth and final consultation will take place 3-4 July 2018.

GCM:

The fifth round of Intergovernmental Consultations on the Global Compact for Migration took place from 4-8 June 2018. These two SDG Knowledge Hub articles provide additional information on what was discussed: article 1article 2.

The sixth and final round is scheduled for 9-13 July 2018.
