News:

According to this UN press release, some 150 refugees who had been protesting outside UNHCR's office in Pretoria since early 8 October 2019, managed to make their way into the refugee agency's compound. They are requesting relocation to a safer country after being targeted in anti-immigrant attacks. More reporting is available in these VOA, Daily Maverick and ABC news stories. UNHCR has posted information on how and where to get help on its Facebook page and Twitter feed.
