New COVID-19 Resource: Platform on Temporary Measures and Impact on Protection

In addition to its operational portal on COVID-19, UNHCR has developed an evidence-based "temporary platform" that provides information to inform government policy and decision-making during the pandemic and identify gaps in protection. To that end, it provides access to data relating to "borders and admission of asylum-seekers" and "national asylum procedures." The tutorial explains how to filter the data to view region- or country-specific details.

The platform was officially launched during the 78th meeting of EXCOM's Standing Committee.
