New Issue of FMR

The May 2024 issue of Forced Migration Review (FMR) has been published, with a focus on "Digital disruption and displacement." Here's the abstract:

"Digital technologies are transforming our lives. Forcibly displaced people are using digital technologies in ways that inform and shape their migration and settlement in new places. At the same time, digital technologies are being used on (or against) forcibly displaced people. Complex predictive modelling, geolocation tracking on mobile phones, biometric data use and dissemination, digital financial systems and the use of artificial intelligence in decision-making are among the digital technologies discussed in this issue."

FMR73 includes 24 articles and was produced in partnership with Robert Bosch Stiftung and UNHCR's Innovation & Digital Services team. Readers can access FMR articles 1) individually, in HTML format or 2) as a complete PDF issue.

**Note that two launch events for this issue will be held on the 5th and 18th of June 2024; details are provided on FMR's home page.**

**Also note that FMR has a re-designed website! It is still in beta, so feedback is welcome.**

Back issues of FMR can be accessed via the search feature.

FMR is an open access publication. It is available online and in print in English, Arabic, French and Spanish.
