The annual International Studies Association (ISA) conference is a major event, involving a huge number of participants contributing papers on a wide range of international topics, including, of course, forced migration. The 2009 meeting was held 14-18 February 2009 in New York City.
There are several ways to access conference papers. First, go to the 2009 paper archive and either browse (which isn't terribly useful since there are thousands of papers!) or search within the full-text, title, author, subject or abstract of papers. Alternatively, search within the conference program for either panels or papers of interest (you can use the PDF search function to locate keywords within the document). Then retrieve the abstract or text of the paper from the archive.
