RSC's 30th Anniversary Conference: Resources

The Refugee Studies Centre's 30th Anniversary Conference on global refugee policy took place in Oxford on 6-7 December 2012.  A background paper and related comprehensive literature review were issued in advance of the meeting.

For those who were not able to attend, podcasts of the opening and closing plenaries have now been posted on Forced Migration Online (FMO).

In addition, you can get a sense of some of the individual presentations by reviewing Nando Sigona's and Hein de Haas' tweets from the respective days of the conference.

Additional presentations (this list will be added to as more become available):

"Going Back to Go Forward: Comparing the UK Policy Responses to Refugee Doctors in the 1930s and 2000s," Presentation by Ceri Butler, University College London, & John Eversley, London Metropolitan University

"Making of Global Refugee Policy A Practitioner's Reflections," Speech by Eric P. Schwartz, Dean of Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota
