The Refugee Studies Centre (RSC) recently announced the launch of a new book series on "Religion and Global Migrations," to be published by Palgrave Macmillan. The aim of the series is to "examine the phenomenon of religion and different forms of forced and voluntary migration from multiple disciplinary perspectives, from various global locations, and from a range of religious traditions." If you would like to submit a proposal, review the guidelines and complete the form provided.
The Refugee Law Initiative (RLI) also has plans for a series, in conjunction with Martinus Nijhoff, on "International Refugee Law"; its objective is to "provide a platform for outstanding new studies of the intersecting legal regimes for the protection of refugees and displaced persons. Monographs and edited volumes in the series aim to advance scholarly and practitioner insight into how 'refugee law' is evolving globally, focusing particularly on its interaction with other bodies of international law and manifestation in regions outside Europe."
For information on other series that focus on asylum, refugee and forced migration issues, visit the new board I created on my Pinterest page. Are there any others out there that readers know about?
