COE Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings

The Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings comes into force today, 1 February 2008. This was triggered by the required 10th state ratification on 24 October 2007. A handbook is available for parliamentarians to learn more about how to promote further ratification and application of the Convention by their governments.
