News: Two New Virtual Issues

The Overseas Development Institute (ODI) has published two virtual journal issues, one on mental health and the other on technology.

The "Technology Virtual Issue" links to 11 articles from both Development Policy Review and Disasters. Here is part of the description:

"As ODI’s Humanitarian Policy Group (HPG) embark on a major research project looking at the links between technology and inclusion in humanitarian contexts, this collection reviews key papers from both humanitarian and development research, revealing a number of important themes (HPG, 2019). Each of these contributions explores the increasing presence of technology in disaster response and development interventions, highlighting the added value of such technologies in humanitarian response and positioning them against long-standing and evolving risks and concerns."

The "World Mental Health Day Virtual Issue" features 11 articles from Disasters, organized under the following sub-sections: "Aid Workers," "Civilians," and "Mental Health Policy and Interventions."

Articles included in both of these issues will be freely available until the end of April 2020.
