Admin: Changes to Email Subscription

I wanted to let you know that Feedburner, the current application I use to manage email subscriptions to my blog, will be discontinuing this particular component as of 1 July 2021. So I have signed up to a different platform called FeedBlitz in order to continue to offer this service. Current subscribers have now been transferred over to FeedBlitz - you do NOT need to re-subscribe!

Since Feedburner will be active for two more days, you may receive duplicates of my blog posts at different times of the day. Apologies for that, but it at least will confirm that you have been successfully transferred over! If you do not receive duplicates, then there may have been a glitch. Please let me know accordingly.

Thanks!

News: World Refugee Day + UNHCR Resource

credit: H. Amiri*
World Refugee Day is commemorated every year on 20 June 2021. This year's theme is "Together we heal, learn and shine." Visit UNHCR's World Refugee Day web page for more information about the theme and what's taking place in specific countries to celebrate the day. Follow UNHCR's Live Blog and/or the hashtag #WorldRefugeeDay for messages of support and to discover events and stories honoring the forcibly displaced.

I will post a round-up later on of some of the new resources that are launched on World Refugee Day. But in the meantime, please visit a new page on my blog, UNHCR's Resources and Publications, which I hope will make it a bit easier to locate UNHCR-related information.
