60th Session of EXCOM

The 60th session of UNHCR's Executive Committee opened today in Geneva and will close on October 2nd. The officers include Mr. Alberto J. Dumont of Argentina as Chairperson, Ms. Caroline Millar of Australia as Vice-Chairperson, and Ms. Nicoleta Birladianu of Romania as Rapporteur. There are currently 78 members of EXCOM.

As indicated in the draft agenda, items to be addressed over the course of the week include the following:
