IDMC): First, the organization is advertising for a new Head, preferably someone who can start as soon as possible. The deadline for applications is 11 March 2013.
Second, check out the IDMC blog. Posts highlight country profiles and report on key developments such as 15 years of the Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement, the landmark "Act Protecting the Rights of Internally Displaced Persons" approved in the Philippines, and the entering into force of the Kampala Convention (more on each of these below).
As was noted in this post from last August, the results from a survey conducted by the IDMC regarding their web site will be used to inform further changes, so watch their various spaces for updates!
