Climate Change and Displacement

Climate change talks are taking place in Bonn, Germany from 1-12 June 2009. The aim is to discuss "key negotiating texts which can serve as the basis for an ambitious and effective international climate change deal, to be clinched in Copenhagen in December." According to this press release, a group of 18 humanitarian organizations attending the talks called "for the humanitarian impacts of climate change to be addressed in the successor agreement to the Kyoto Protocol."
