Accessions lists for the first quarter of 2009 are now available from the Refugee Council Archive at UEL and the Refugee Studies Centre library.
Other libraries are using RSS feeds to alert users to new additions to their collections. For example, at the Peace Palace Library web site, you can subscribe to keyword feeds. Any time a record for a new journal article, book chapter, report or book that includes one of your keywords is added to the catalogue, your feed will be updated. I located "Refugees and displaced persons," "Human trafficking," "Humanitarian assistance," and "Internally displaced persons" in the list provided. To subscribe to the associated feeds, just click on the orange icon and copy and paste the feed into your reader.
Another example: The JV Barry library in Australia offers monthly current awareness alerts of new materials added to their collection. I subscribed to their people trafficking RSS feed so that I will be informed when the associated alert is available.
