News: Free content via Project MUSE

I have mentioned before that many book and journal publishers are (temporarily) providing free access to their content to facilitate research and support students. Often, the access is limited to studies that are specifically relevant to COVID-19, but in other cases, the access extends to a broader range of subject matter. One way to more easily locate this free content is by using the services of an aggregator like Project MUSE, which houses scholarly materials in the humanities and social sciences. They recently announced that content provided by certain publishers would be freely available through 30 June 2020.

Give it a go! Use the search function to look for instances of "refugees OR asylum." The search results clearly indicate what is free and what is not; alternatively, tick the box on the left that limits the results to "only content I have access to."
