 - The purpose of this Technical Note is to help UNHCR operations understand and implement their responsibilities in relation to the: 1) Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism for grave violations against children in armed conflict ("MRM"), as established by UN Security Council resolution 1612 (2005); and 2) Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Arrangements on conflict-related sexual violence ("MARA"), as established by UN Security Council resolution 1960 (2010).
