U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has now issued guidance to asylum officers for "determining whether a petitioner is eligible for asylum or refugee status in light of the Attorney General’s decision in Matter of A-B-."

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has also prepared guidance for its attorneys who will litigate "asylum and statutory withholding of removal claims in the wake of the Attorney General’s precedent decision in Matter of A-B-."
