Global Compact on Refugees:
On 20 July 2018, UNHCR circulated an advance version of the Global Compact on Refugees. This Q&A with Volker Türk, Assistant High Commissioner for Protection, sets out some of the thinking behind the global refugee compact and how it might make a difference. See also his remarks to the informal exchange with Member States on the global compact on refugees.
