The Refugee Law Initiative (RLI) is accepting applications for the October 2024 intake of its MA in Refugee Protection & Forced Migration Studies. This postgraduate course is undertaken on a part-time basis online, enabling students from around the world to participate. More details are provided in this video recording of a recent webinar.
The closing date for applications is 19 August 2024.
Note that while the programme is tuition-based, it offers a number of bursaries and scholarships to help offset costs. These are listed below, with deadlines indicated for each; note that these are available only for students who have already been offered a place in the MA course:
Scholarships:
- B.S Chimni Scholarship ("open to new students living in South and Southeast Asia"; apply by 4 August 2024)
- Hannah Arendt Scholarship ("open to new students living in Africa"; apply by 4 August 2024)
- Jean-François Durieux Scholarship ("open to new students living in the Middle East or Latin America"; apply by 4 August 2024)
Bursaries are also available for employees/members of the following organizations:
- Danish Refugee Council (apply for/request the bursary at least 2 weeks before the programme's registration deadline - which is 1 October 2024)
- Norwegian Refugee Council (apply for/request the bursary at least 2 weeks before the programme's registration deadline - which is 1 October 2024)
- Professionals in Humanitarian Assistance & Protection (request this bursary at least two weeks before the programme's application deadline - which is 19 August 2024)
- UNHCR (apply for/request the bursary at least 2 weeks before the programme's registration deadline - which is 1 October 2024)
