Focus on Humanitarian Assistance

The Global Humanitarian Assistance Report for 2012 was launched on 19 July 2012.  It "uses the latest data to present the most comprehensive assessment of the international humanitarian financing response. The report considers how this response has measured up to the scale of global humanitarian crises and reflects on the timeliness, proportionality, and phasing of investments."

The text can be accessed via the GHA Reports page.  See also reflections on the report from Oxfam and the Feinstein International Center, as well as related news stories from IPS and IRIN.
