Thematic Focus: Law/Policy Items


The 1951 Refugee Convention entered into force (or became legally binding) sixty years ago on 22 April 1954. After all the commemorations that took place for the 60th anniversary of the convention's signing in 2011, this milestone passed by relatively quietly.  Here are a few references:
